And alle þat holpen hendely to heryen & to sowen
Of any maner mester þat myghte Piers availe
Part in þat pardon þe pope hath y-graunted
kynges & knyghtes þat kepen holy chirche
And rightfulliche in rewme reulen þe people
han pardonin / pardon in purgatorie to passen wel sone
with patriarkes in paradys to pleyne þer-after
Bisschopes þat blessen and bothe lawes konne
Loken on þat lawe & lere men þat othir
And beoreth heom on heore bak as heore baner scheweth
And prechen heore persons þeo peryles of synne
And how þe scabbed schal heore wolle sauen
